The Development Manager is responsible for managing fundraising events, online fundraising campaigns, particularly donor and sponsor relations. The Manager ensures funder roster and funding databases are managed and maintained, including with supervision of Development Coordinator. The Manager will participate in development of strategies to encourage, thank and otherwise engage donors, and will ensure execution of commitments made to event sponsors, including donor and sponsor engagement at events.
Main Duties Include:
· Interdepartmental coordination with Community Relations Director and team, Executive Leadership, and Program/Services Directors as relevant.
· Ensures proper recognition and communication stewardship for all donors, including through Board of Directors with coordination by Board Manager and CEO.
· Identify and support cultivation plans for current donors, lapsed donors, and prospective donors.
· Manage an oversee donor database, gift entry, database reporting to Leadership Team and database reporting and reconciliation with Finance Department.
· Supervise Development Coordinator.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
· 2 to 5 years nonprofit development program management experience (required)
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field (required)
· Experience using donor management software and maintaining database, and proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) (required)
· Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
· Demonstrated public speaking skills and be able to deliver presentations to a range of audiences
· Staff supervision or team coordination experience
· Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
· Must possess the capacity, technology, and connectivity to work remotely, as occasionally needed, in an effective manner. [Laptop computer and work phone provided.]

Salary Range: $55K to $65K (Based on experience)
